About

Ashgrove Sessions turns memory into melody — late-night confessions and last-call singalongs, written after midnight and sung like they matter.

It started with a borrowed guitar and a kitchen table.

The first Ashgrove song was written to keep the porch light on — literally. One microphone, one take, and a chorus the neighbours learned through the walls. That recording became "Porchlight," and "Porchlight" became a hundred rooms, then a thousand.

Three records later, the process hasn't changed: write it honest, play it loud, and leave room for the crowd to finish the sentence. The band is a rotating cast of old friends — piano, brushed drums, a string quartet when the room deserves it — and every show ends the same way, with the house lights up and everybody singing.
